New service allows organizations such as art schools or art departments to provide an art sharing network for their community.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 09, 2012. Leading art content display website MyFolio.com has announced new features including file sharing, increased storage space and an upgrade to its art sharing network.

The website is a popular online tool for artists and other creatives needing to regularly upload and display shared images, videos, audios and files — or to build personalized portfolios.

According to MyFolio.com founder Mustafa Lazkani, the idea for the website began with a search by fellow graduate art school associates for a dependable and affordable way to upload and share their artwork. “After contemplating designs for a cheap, easy-to-use and robust website able to handle a variety of videos, graphics and documents – our first MyFolio.com website was born in 2009.”

Since then the website has regularly added features to keep up with advances, he says.

This week’s rollout of its new Plus accounts is aimed at art departments and institutions and includes features such as attractive pricing breakpoints, powerful account management tools, customized built-in networking, file sharing (pdf, psd, ai, etc.) capabilities, activity streams, and advanced privacy controls.
